Manasquan is about 22 miles away from our home cleaning "command center", (my house) and accessible to RT 34. Manasquan's land mass is about 2.5 square miles with almost half of that being water. Almost 6,000 people inhabit the the town of Manasquan.
Being a beach town, Manasquans population swells over the summer and surfers find waves at the Manasquan inlet, part of the Intra coastal. The Algonquin Arts Theater built in 1938 still houses live performances, shows and movies in her 540 seat theatre.
