Keyport is a short 3 mile drive away from our home cleaning location and has about 7,200 residents. The area itself is rather small at just over 1 square mile of landmass with 0.074 of that area, water. The town borders Union Beach, Aberdeen and Hazlet.
Keyport is famous for the oyster industry and was one of the world’s greatest suppliers – until over fishing and pollution destroyed much of the business. Restoration of Keyports oyster reefs took place up until 2010 with some negotiating between the FDA and the NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection.
I've always enjoyed cleaning for myself and when my son grew up and went off to college I decided that this is what I wanted to do. It's really more about the relationships that flourish with my customers that makes it so rewarding.
