Just a quick 17 minute drive from our location is the town of Keansburg. The town itself is comprised of just under 17 sq. miles and has over 10,000 residents. Like several townships in New Jersey, Keansburg was home to the Lenni Lenape Native Americans, who didn’t take kindly to the Europeans that landed in 1609.
Always a weekend beach haven, Keansburg hosts the Keansburg Amusement Park along with other tourist attractions such as the Boardwalk, Runaway Rapids Waterpark, St. Johns Park and the World War II Memorial Park.
